Weekend Herb Blogging #365 - Recap

Just one more sleep to go until the big day and this weeks WHB has dishes that are well suited for the festivities.

Festive Cous Cous (Cous Cous Festivo)
by Cinzia from Cindystar

The festive colours are there - the orange glow of pumpkin, rich red of pomegranate, the green of rosemary and the gold of couscous

Grilled Corn Salad
by Di-Di and Arne from Bouquet Garni Cuisine Organique

A perfect salad if you're having a BBQ - roast fresh ears of corn and combine the kernels with a tangy mayonnaise and yoghurt dressing, spiked with chives, cilantro and cayenne.

Salad with Ginger
by Brii from Briggishome

A colourful tumble of radicchio, orange, apple and carrots with an added zing of grated ginger.

Braised White Beans and Leeks
by Janet from The Taste Space

For those in cooler climes, this hearty stew of white beans and leeks is perfumed with a bounty of herbs - thyme, rosemary, marjoram, basil and sage and extra heat from aleppo pepper.

Coconut Pannacotta with Caramelised Mango

My own offering - a light dessert to end the festivities - a simple coconut pannacotta topped with caramelised mango.

Thank you for joining in this week and throughout the year - WHB is taking a break but will resume in the new year, I look forward to seeing you there.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a most happy New Year.
